NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY

Starring: Chris Kattan & Will Ferrell

Night at the Roxbury, based on the Saturday Night Live sketch, stars Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell. The head bopping Butabi Brothers must find a way to realize their dream of running their own night club, or be faced a destiny or working at their dad's fake plant store. This movie is surprisingly enjoyable thanks to an engergetic cast. The plot is pretty threadbare, but what can you expect? The Saturday night live sketch this is based on featured very little dialogue so it is nice to see these guys turned into real characters.

Chris Kattan is clearly the standout in this film. As the brother who is the mastermind behind all their plans, his energy is infectious. Will Ferrell is also good, but comes across a little too much like Keanu Reeves from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Will the brother's realize their dreams? You can probably already guess, but nonetheless you'll still have a good time watching them try. This film also features: Molly Shannon, Dan Hedaya, Loni Anderson, Colin Quinn, Richard Grieco and Chazz Palminteri. Check it out!
