THE LADIES MAN

Starring: Tim Meadows, Karyn Parsons & Will Ferrell

The Ladies Man, based on the popular Saturday Night Live sketch, stars Tim Meadows in the title role. Meadows expands his ladies man chracter to the big screen in this feature length comedy. There is not much of a plot, but there are quite a few laughs. In this film Leon Phelps is a radio talk show host (instead of television) who finds himself out of a job due to his risque material. He must find a new job as well as true love. Out to foil him are a group of angry men, led by SNL alum Will Ferrell, who have lost their wives and girlfriends to Leon.

While there are a lot of laughs in this movie, they do start to wear out towards the end as the movie attempts to wrap up the plot. It is worth a rental, however, especially if you are a fan of Meadows or Saturday Night Live.
