THE BEST OF TRACY MORGAN - My ThoughtsThis was okay. I liked Tracy Morgan on the show, but unfortunately he didn't have a lot of his own characters. Here we get two Brian Fellow's sketches, one of the Astronaut Jones (though they could have put two of these as well), there is also Woodrow the homeless man. That's pretty much it for his regular characters. I think they could have done more of his weekend update commentaries and left out some of the weaker sketches. I'm not a big fan of the Pimp Chat or the one with him and Bernie Mac watching the Pianist. I'm sure if I thought back over all the years he was on the show I could think of a lot of things that should have been on the best of. I always liked his bits where he would talk with the host about not getting on the show that night and Lorne Michaels would show up... They did show the one of these with Garth Brooks but they are short enough they could have squeezed in a couple more. The Jamie Foxx one was one of my favorites out of these. |
