American Idol Results

For the girls - there were no big surprises. Kinnik Sky and Ayla Brown were voted off. I had predicted Kinnik and Melissa, with Ayla as a possibility. Ayla really messed up on her song choice Tuesday, so it wasn't a huge surprise to see her leave.

I was comepletely wrong on the guys though.

Will Makar and Gedeon McKinney were voted off.

With Will I just overestimted his teenage fanbase (which apparently went to Kevin), so not too big of a surprise on him.

What I was shocked about was Gedeon. There is no reason Kevin Covais should still be there and Gedeon not. Gedeon may have been a bit annoying in attitude, but he has a lot more talent than Kevin.

Next week brings us our first theme - Stevie Wonder. I am so not looking forward to hearing Kevin struggle through a Stevie Wonder tune.
