American Idol - down to 11
Melissa McGhee is gone, and that's no surprise, but the other two thirds of the bottom three were.
Lisa Tucker had the 2nd lowest votes and Ace Young the 3rd lowest.
Kevin Covais was completely safe. Why???
I'm no fan of Ace, but I don't think any of the contestants should leave before Kevin.
And now I remember why I've never really been into American Idol before. Well, that lame Ford commercial was the first reminder, but the bottom 3 results drove it home.
The commercial made me wonder if Chris Daughtry will loose any of his "rocker" credibility, since he was featured as the main singer.
I would think the same about Taylor Hicks, but he seems to be so thoroughly enjoying the whole experience, it seems nothing will phase him. I'm glad for that.
I hope Taylor does another fantastic performance next week so I can again be reminded why I'm watching the show in the first place.
