Summer Movies

I have seen a four big summer movies, and so far I haven't been all that impressed.

War of the Worlds Grade - C: Promising start - terrible last third. Without giving away too much, I'll just say I guess Tom Cruise should have stuck with the son.

The Fantastic Four Grade - D: Why do we need to see the originations? I think today's movie audiences know enough about superheroes to not need to see "how it all began." This was just boring.

The Wedding Crashers Grade - B-: They could have taken the humor a little further, there were just not enough laughs.

I've already talked about this one, but here is my letter grade:

Revenge of the Sith Grade - D-: Totally forgettable. I think popluar opinion on this one will change quickly. Remember how much everyone "liked" Attack of the Clones so much better than The Phantom Menace? The Phantom Menace still made the most money, and I personally think it's the best of the three. At least it had the lightsaber duel, and it had a sense of fun, unlike Revenge. Even The Empire Strikes Back had a sense of humor.
