Blogging in the Real World

I have to admit, though it's obvious from just looking at this sight, that I am not a good blogger. It's not just that I don't post regularly, I know I don't, but it's the whole finding your own voice part that's hard.

My whole inspiration for blogging came from reading wilwheaton.net. Wheaton just says whatever is on his mind, and I thought, there's no reason why I couldn't do that too. But really it's easier said than done, especially since I decided to base my whole sight around entertainment. Now most of the time I can talk on and on about the entertainment world. I actually work in the industry, nothing exciting, but I'm on the fringe.

When I come on here I find myself just spilling out some basic info on whateever topic I'm into at the time (right now it's Arrested Development), and then getting off as quickly as possible.

One of my main reasons for starting this site was so I could spout off however I wanted to about anything entertainment related.

I have resolved that more effort is needed.

For anyone who makes it to the bottom of this post -

I would like to pay a little tribute to Wil Wheaton - though I'm not sure he would like to take credit for inspiring this site - by encouraging anyone who already hasn't to take a look at his site. I promise you don't have to be a Star Trek geek to read it.

As of late Wheaton has had an hilarious exchange with a friend of his, and a new blog has been born. Jesus' Favorite is probably the funniest blog I have ever read - check it out!
