Red Eye

I saw Red Eye over the weekend. I thought this was a good thriller. It was perfectly paced and kept me interested the whole time. Don't go in expecting a horror movie, just because it was directed by Wes Craven. I've heard a few complaints saying the movie wasn't "scary" enough. There are no supernatural horror aspects to this movie. This movie is more of an edge of your seat race to the finish line type of thriller. I highly recommend.

Rachel McAdams was very good as the damsel in distress. Unfortunately it is no secret that Cillian Murphy plays the bad guy, but he is very good as well.

I liked the marketing ploy of the original teaser trailer which played the movie off as being a romantic comedy. By the end of the trailer you know it's not, but I thought it would have been kind of good to not know who the bad guy was going in.

Still an entertaining movie though.
